Nymphing Setup for Trout

This is our recommended nymphing setup for trout fishing. 

Checklist:

o Leader: 9’ 4x or 5x fluorocarbon leader
o Nymphs (Pheasant tail, Black stoneflies, Hare’s Ear, Prince Nymph, Caddis Nymph, midges, etc.)
o Split shots or tungsten putty
o Strike indicators (small)
o Tippet rings (small)
o Tippet: 4x and 5x fluorocarbon spools
